The gently sloping beach at Worthing is sand and shingle, with most of the sandier parts being covered as the tide moves in.

Worthing has 5 miles of a beautiful palm-tree lined promenade, including the exciting new splash point and Lido making for a perfect fun day at the beach. Worthing’s seafront is based around its Historic Pier, which was opened on 12 April 1862 and remains open to this day.

Between 1st May and 30th September dogs are excluded between Heene Road and Splash Point in Worthing
