Walpole Bay home to tidal swimming pool and long sandy beach

Walpole Bay, Margate is ideal for investigating fascinating rock pools and home to a tidal swimming pool, dating back to 1937.

This long bay has a sandy beach, promenade and where there is a small area of beach at high tide.

If the tide catches you out, above the beach you will find a cafe with mini golf and tennis courts. Close by is an Indoors Bowls centre and Bandstand with seasonal performances (outdoor cinema, markets and concerts)

Dogs must be kept on a lead between 10am and 6pm from 1st May to 30th September
