Stone Bay is a beautiful, quieter location than other beaches in the area, it's best known for rock-pooling and popular with families

The promenade leads into Broadstairs town and is a great bay to get away from the hustle of the main sands at Viking Bay, Broadstairs. During high tide the bay is totally submerged and by late afternoon the sun goes behind the cliffs, casting a deep shadow over this lovely beach. 

Only on street parking at Stone Bay, along the cliff top, but there is access via the promenade to the Broadstairs Harbour car park which has disabled spaces available.

Stone Bay was awarded a Blue Flag Award in 2023.

Please note: No Dogs are allowed on the beach from 1st May until 30th September, from 10am - 6pm
