Portsmouth is a dynamic and vibrant waterfront city packed with world-class attractions.

Bristling with naval and maritime history, this port city also offers plenty for culture-buffs, visit Charles Dicken’s Birthplace museum, Portsmouth Cathedral and don’t miss the Emirate’s Spinnaker Tower for jaw-dropping panoramic views.

Portsmouth is also home to three of the Royal Navy’s historic war ships, head to the Historic Dockyard to see Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory, Queen Victoria’s HMS Warrior and HMS Monitor M33 from the Second World War Battle of Gallipoli. You’ll be spoilt for choice for museums which bring to life our maritime heritage and if you’re after retail therapy, head to Gunwharf Quays. 

Don't forget to visit the D-Day Story Museum or stroll along the beach at Southsea there really is so much to see in this historic city!
