The home of Leonard and Virginia Woolf
This small 17th century weatherboarded cottage in the village of Rodmell was the country retreat of the novelist Virginia Woolf and her husband Leonard and a meeting place for the Bloomsbury Group. The garden features the writing room where she created her best known works and includes cottage garden borders, orchard, allotments and ponds.
There are a number of steps throughout the garden and into the property. Wheelchair access is available for the garden.
