Geevor Tin Mine fue la última mina en trabajar en el famoso distrito de St Just Mining y ahora forma parte del sitio del patrimonio mundial de Cornish Mining. Until very recently Geevor was an operating mine and is built on a steep slope. As a result some of the areas of the site are not accessible to those with mobility or visual impairments.

We would like everybody to be able to visit us and enjoy the site and are working towards this aim.
Currently there is wheelchair access to the Hard Rock Museum, a number of the mine buildings and many surface areas. The Shop and Café are fully accessible with wheelchair-friendly toilet facilities also available around the site.

We also offer guided tours around the site and underground to those with visual impairments and guide dogs are permitted everywhere on site, including the underground section.
