Cockington Court is one of Torbay's favourite destinations, combining history with present day through a thriving craft centre and events programme

Cockington Court is one of Torbay's favourite destinations, combining history with present day through a thriving craft centre and a popular programme of events. The site enjoys a growing reputation as a regional centre for quality arts and crafts.

Set in an award-winning country park a mile away from the seafront, Cockington Court is a historic manor house with over twenty craft studios, tea rooms, walled art garden, tudor rose garden, contemporary art gallery and a popular children’s play area.

Our Kitchen Gallery has a growing reputation in the arts world as a contemporary gallery space of regional significance, having showcased work by artists of international acclaim as well as emerging local talent.

Discover artists and craft makers at work in their studios. Watch the glass blowers create amazing works of art, hear the blacksmith clinking at his forge, and smell the delightful aromas of the delicious chocolate being made by the chocolatier.

Cockington Court is very much a dog friendly site. We are delighted to have won a silver award in the Herald Express Tourism Awards for Dog Friendly Business of the Year 2016. We request that visiting dogs are kept on leads and under control in the rose garden, walled art garden, stable yard and Sea Change studio areas.

Open daily from 10am - free admission!
Studio times may vary, please contact the maker before planning a special visit.
