Just west of Lulworth Cove lays a less well known gem to discover, Stair Hole is a wonderful example of geological marvels
A short walk from Lulworth Cove, on route to the incredible Durdle Door lays Stair Hole, a hidden wonder on the much loved Jurassic Coast.
Stair Hole is a small cove located just west of Lulworth Cove in Dorset. The folded limestone strata known as the Lulworth crumple are particularly visible at Stair Hole. There are several caves visible from the seaward side of Stair Hole; Cathedral Cavern is supported by pillars of rock rising out of the water.
Stair Hole is a 5 minute walk from Lulworth Cove, where there is plenty of parking.
