Julia and David look forward to welcoming you to Lewesdon in 2019. We aim to offer you a relaxing, comfortable and memorable stay in our elegant home.
We opened in August 2016, after lovingly restoring this Edwardian house into a luxury B&B offering three large, individually designed bedrooms with king size or super king size beds, all with modern amenities, whilst maintaining the elegance of the period features. Ample Private parking is available on site along with use of our extensive garden to sit and relax in.
Our aim is to offer guests a holiday experience which is relaxing and restorative, with a ‘home from home’ feel.
Lewesdon is located in an elevated position just a five minute walk to the town centre and then on to the seafront. It is an ideal base to explore West Dorset and East Devon and in particular the spectacular Jurassic Coast. Often referred to as “The Pearl of Dorset”, Lyme Regis is a relaxing, picturesque and historic seaside town, popular with visitors from both the UK and abroad.
Lyme Regis is ideally situated for all sorts of holiday activities including walking, fossil hunting, cycling, nature rambles, bird watching, fishing, sailing, diving and other watersports. For food lovers, River Cottage HQ is just 3 miles away and the famous Hix Oyster & Fish House is only a 5 minute walk from Lewesdon…….along with a wide variety of other excellent food offerings in the town.
