The white chalk cliffs of Old Harry Rocks at Handfast Point mark the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast!

The spectacular cliffs offer excellent views across Poole Bay and westward along the coast.

Old Harry and his ‘wife’ are chalk stacks and stumps that were at one time part of a chalk seam stretching from Purbeck to the Isle of Wight.  They can  be seen up close on foot via a short walk from either Studland village or from Swanage across Ballard Down.

The routes leading up to Old Harry are popular with both walkers and cyclists and forms part of the South West Coast Path. Why not enjoy a picnic near Old Harry or there are a variety of places in Studland village for lunch, dinner or a drink. Visit Old Harry Rocks if you're looking for a great day out in the Bournemouth area.

Dogs are welcome when visiting Old Harry, but because of the height of the cliffs, they must be kept on a lead.

To fully appreciate the sheer scale and beauty of the cliffs take a boat trip from Poole Quay with City Cruises Poole
