Friendly, family run hotel located in the centre of the medieval village of Dunster, with easy access from A39 and A396 yet only 2 km from the sea.

The Yarn Market Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Dunster, one of the most perfectly preserved medieval villages in England, and the gateway to Exmoor National Park.  The magnificent Dunster Castle is at the end of the street and the West Somerset Railway runs close by. There are many themed breaks on offer throughout the year, including guided South West Coast Path walking breaks, and the area is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities or just a relaxing break. The village is easily accessed from the A39 or A396, and is located just 2km from Dunster beach, a haven for sea birds. For walkers the hotel has excellent facilities including a boot and drying room, and maps are readily available combined with local knowledge to help you with your walks. Most of the bedrooms have either a view over the village or the surrounding countryside. Pets are most welcome at the hotel in the dog-friendly rooms.  Our restaurant is open daily for evening meals but please contact the hotel to reserve a table.

The hotel has a lift for easier access to some of its bedrooms. This would involve climbing a few steps from the front entrance to the hotel, and to the door of the lift.
