Discover the stories of the seafarers, explorers, mayors, merchants and miscreants who have called King's Lynn home for the past 800 years.
Located in the town's medieval quarter, Stories of Lynn brings history vividly to life through a fun, interactive exhibition. Its treasures include the sumptuous King John Cup, a wealth of magnificent mayoral regalia, and the original 18th-century gaol house and cells. The museum is also home to the King's Lynn Borough Archives. This extensive store of original documents is part of the Norfolk Records Office, and tells the stories of the town and its people first-hand.
Stories of Lynn is a fully accessible attraction except one small exhibition area.
