The local area is infamous for its fresh seafood, but mainly for its Native Oysters, sold internationally all over the world. During your trip you will sail amongst the creeks where these famous oysters are cultivated and harvested and you will see the Colchester Oyster Fisheries building used for packing, sizing and sorting the oysters before they are shipped off to the restaurants.

Trips range from 30 minutes and 1 hour sightseeing to 2 hour wildlife trips, through to longer lunch excursions. All trips must be booked and paid for in advance to secure your trip. There is free parking on the roads in the winter, or in the surrounding residential roads all year round if you don't mind a short walk in the summer. Alternatively, there is a pay and display carpark near the pontoon. No wheelchair access available
