Owl Cottage is the personal holiday home of Kate, Kieran, Hannah & Harry who live 45 minutes away in Newcastle upon Tyne. Owl Cottage is found within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Coastal Cycle route at a small farm hamlet between the coastal villages of Embleton and Craster (with its picturesque fishing harbour and famous smoked kippers and salmon). Six miles inland lies the historic medieval market town of Alnwick, with its famous Alnwick Garden & Castle, well known to many as where Harry Potter was filmed. The cottage is very well equipped ( free wi-fi, tvs, dvds and > 1000 books to read, BBQ, garden & beach games, trampoline & rock pool fishing nets) and offers light & airy accommodation for 5 plus a cot in 3 bedrooms and includes a warm and cosy living room with large inglenook fireplace with wood burner stove, a dining kitchen with hand crafted ash wood kitchen and a garden room overlooking the enclosed back garden. There is also a lovely enclosed front garden with seating areas from which to take in the wonderful countryside views.
