Is there a better month than May? Longer days, seabirds swooping into coastal cliffs, pink and yellow blooms splashed across clifftops – all bookended with two bank holidays! Long before the summer crowds swarm, this is the perfect time to get out on the water on a leisurely boat cruise, for a quiet paddleboard or to take the first plunge of the year.
Easter holidays are upon us, we’re blessed with not one but two bank holidays in May and even the sun’s indulging us, so don’t wait for a long summer vacation when short breaks are so much more to the point! Come for clifftop carpets of yellow gorse, scenes of bobbing seabirds and seals and bags of vitamin D with the return of al fresco dining. If you’re looking for inspiration and a bargain, check out our England’s Coast browse and book platform here.
