A superb all-day café, bar and dining room in Poundbury

Built by the Duchy of Cornwall but operated by Hall & Woodhouse, this pub is named after the Duchess of Cornwall and was opened by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess in 2016. With an inn sign depicting the Duchess’ coat of arms, designed by a student at the Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts, as well as many artefacts from the Woodhouse family, including the great brewing copper from the King & Barnes brewery, which H&W acquired in 2000, the inn is certainly full of character.
