Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park is recognised as both an Award Winning attraction for all ages home to the Rare Breed Heavy Horses and is one of the last sanctuary's for Heavy Horses left in the country. Come an explore a day back in time within the heart of Dorset. With fascinating daily talks and presentations learn how these gentle giants faithfully served man for thousands of years, carrying soldiers into battle, transporting goods up and down the country, hauling barges and tirelessly ploughing lands. 
Visit Exhibits from days gone by including WW1 field trenches discovering the story of the War horse and life as a solider, Vintage Cider Press, Blacksmiths workshop, a collection of Romany Vardo's and magnificent trucks and vehicles from days gone by. 

It's a REAL farm experience! Enjoy Heavy Horse carriage rides, Drive a Vintage tractor, farm yard tours and tractor trailer rides. A full daily schedule awaits you! 
Smokey Joe's Cafe which is situated on the park serves home cooked brunches, lunches and afternoon teas.
