Blackpool Transport operate a network of regular buses and trams across the Fylde Coast with 140 buses, 18 modern trams and a fleet of Heritage trams.

At Blackpool Transport we currently operate 14 bus routes that link Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Thornton, Bispham, Poulton, Blackpool, St Annes and Lytham. Our Tramway line extends 11 miles along the coast from Starrgate to Fleetwood offering easy and accessible travel for everyone along our coastline. We also offer Heritage Tram Tours for those looking to take a trip down memory lane. This special fleet consists of our classic restored trams, some of which are over 100 years old! The starts of our fleet renewal plan in 215 saw the arrival of our first Palladium branded buses, all of which included E-leather seating, free WIFI and mobile charging ports. Our newest buses even have wireless charging ports and next stop visual
announcements.

Accessibility Information

The majority of our bus fleet are Palladium branded vehicles. These low floor vehicles are fully accessible with both audio and visual next stop announcements and plenty of space for both wheelchair and pushchair users.

All of our modern light rail trams are wheelchair accessible and benefit from level boarding platforms. Wheelchair users have priority use of the wheelchair space on our buses, as this is the only place in which wheelchair users can travel safely. We urge our customers to offer their cooperation in making the wheelchair space available for wheelchair users when required.
