The local area is infamous for its fresh seafood, but mainly for its Native Oysters, sold internationally all over the world. During your trip you will motor amongst the creeks where these famous oysters are cultivated and harvested and you will see the Colchester Oyster Fisheries building used for packing, sizing and sorting the oysters before they are shipped off to the restaurants.

Essex Sea Fishing offers a variety of length trips from short inshore trips to all day offshore trips. Trips include, but not limited to, fishing trips, wildlife and seal watching trips, general sightseeing, trips to view the sea forts, trips up to the Ross Revenge aka Radio Caroline Ship, ash scatterings and more. Trips are offered on our spacious 10m Blyth catamaran with plenty on seating on deck and in the heated wheelhouse. There is a toilet onboard and a galley area for making tea and coffee along with a friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable skipper. Trips run out of Brightlingsea Harbour.
