Just 2 miles from the beautiful Suffolk coast - a traditional pub at the heart of the community with a big heart for Suffolk food.

Whether it be in our small snug bar, restaurant or even in our beer garden we offer the perfect place for that quick drink or a delicious three course meal.

From the bar we offer an impressive range of craft gins and whiskies alongside our excellent wine offering and selection of local ales. In the kitchen we are passionate about local meat and are able to offer some great cuts from our butcher in Aldeburgh, Salter and Kings. Our fishmonger from Lowestoft compliments this with his sustainably sourced fish whilst the greengrocer is just down the road from us.
The cosy restaurant is set on two levels and offers lots of corners for that candle-lit dinner. With its wonky walls and wooden beams this 500-year-old pub is soaked in history which bring such charm to the restaurant. The bar and snug offer an insight in to years gone by at The Parrot with an array of black and white pictures and artwork.

The bar is stocked with a great choice of craft gins, whiskies and bourbons alongside our eclectic wine list that offers something for everybody. With Adnams just up the coast you can rest assure that your pint will be tip top. We take no shame in not providing straws and stirrers on the bar. We, along with our Sister pub, the Dolphin in Thorpeness and our village store in Thorpeness, have pledged to reduce the amount of plastic that we use. This is just one little way that it can help.

In the kitchen we source as much as we can from local suppliers. All of our meat comes direct from Salter and King butchers in Aldeburgh whilst our greengrocer is just up the road in Leiston. Our fish monger sources from sustainable stock in Lowestfoft. Through the warmer months we also are supplied with a plethora of produce from John Westrup in Thorpeness.
